Going Home

Gaby went for an early morning 1.5 km walk and swim while I remained committed to bed. Back at the apartment we showered, then had coffee and cakes to start the day properly.

The morning was spent on the beach, with Gaby swimming repeatedly while I mostly supervised. At one point we got locked out of the apartment, but the cleaner kindly let us back in for a quick shower and to pack for our midday checkout.

Lunch was at Solomon Restaurant, where Gaby enjoyed two cervezas. Afterwards we walked along the main street, then visited another, quieter beach before returning to the main one. A tub of ice cream later, we walked to the bus station and caught a bus to the airport.

Passport control was painfully slow, but eventually we boarded and flew home, bringing the trip to a close.
