About Me

In 2018 I spent six days walking nine sections of the Pyrenean Haute Route (see that trip here).
It's been sitting in the back of my mind ever since.
Now I've got the chance to go back, but instead of repeating ground I've already covered, I'm heading for the GR11. I speak Spanish, the trail passes through proper villages for resupply, and it avoids a steady drain on the wallet via pricey refuges.
Plan is simple: wild camp as much as possible, I have upto 38 days to complete it.
Follow along as I make my way across the Pyrenees.
The GR11 is an 800 km trail that runs from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, crossing the Pyrenees mountain range.
