Day 26: Mas Els Pils to el Port de la Selva

It was far too hot all night. Away at 6.30am, and within 20 minutes I was at the next water source.

A shorter day today, getting to the commercial campsite closest to the end of the GR11 so tomorrow can be a short and enjoyable final day. It was a below-average day in terms of scenery, although I did get some close-up sea views.

I concentrated on eating well and drinking plenty.

Arrived at the campsite at 2pm and had my first proper wash in four days. I washed everything I could, including my shoes and hats.

Tomorrow I have to reintegrate into the real world. I’m not sure they’re ready for the smell of my feet.

Tomorrow is only 16km… no idea why I didn’t just do it today!
