Day 21 - Luang Prabang

'Time to see the Monks' said Gaby at 5.45am. They walk through the streets every morning chanting and receiving donations of food. We had been told they pass the hostel at 6am so we stumbled out of bed at and headed into the street to watch them pass.

We made the most of the early rise and the cool morning. After breakfast and a swim in hotel pool, we were out the hotel door to explore the City. By 11am it was getting hot so we headed back for some air conditioning and a snooze.

We braved he warm temperatures again as we headed to the Phou Si Mountain, a small hill located right in the centre of town, to watch the sun set. We then enjoyed the artisan market and searched for another hotel for our next days in the city.
