Day 32 - Hoi An, Vietnam

We really never seem to get a
decent lie in. Today was no exception. Up at 6.50 am to pack, breakfast and check out before being picked up for our tourist bus to Hoi An. It was a basically a bus that went to Hoi An that stopped a few places on the way and had an English speaking guide.

The first three stops were underwhelming, including the beach that was ranked in the world's top 100... I'm not sure the judges passed the "no swimming" sign, nor saw the newly erected barbed wire fence stopping access, let alone the rubbish...

The tour was saved by the final stop, Water mountain just outside Da Nang. It is the largest of a cluster of 5 limestone and marble hills protruding from the surrounding flat countryside.

Our tour finished with us being dropped at our hotel, a boutique hotel with a pool, chosen by Gaby.

The rest of the day was spent in the old town, strolling the streets, markets & sightseeing.
