Gáldar to Las Palmas

From our apartment in Gáldar we walked the 2 km to the sea pools. The pools were very slippery and full of fish. Gaby went for a swim while I stayed dry, then we sheltered briefly from a heavy rain shower before heading back.

By 10:30 we left the apartment, went to the bakery, and then walked to the bus station. The journey to Las Palmas took about an hour. Once there, we wandered through the town centre and onto the beach. Lunch was steak and dumplings, followed by a quick bakery stop.

After checking into the apartment, we returned to the beach once more, then picked up food at the supermarket. The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing indoors and watching a film.
