Three Months in South East Asia
1st Jan 2020 / 
Malaysia
Day 60 - New Year
New Year's Day. The only thing we had planned today was a visit to the Taman Agroteknologi Mardi.
2nd Jan 2020 / Malaysia
Day 61 - George Town, Penang
Our bus was slightly late to leave for Penang and arrived even later - it was the same bus company we used for our journey to the Cameron Highlands which was also delayed.
3rd Jan 2020 / Malaysia
Day 62 - Penang Hill
We got up, what felt like early, but still didn't leave the hotel until mid morning. We caught a taxi to the base of Penang Hill to take the cable car to the top which is about 800m above sea level.
4th Jan 2020 / Malaysia
Day 63 - George town to Langkawi
We checked out of the hotel just before lunch and headed straight to the air conditioned shopping centres for some shopping for our upcoming month on Thailand's beaches
5th Jan 2020 / Malaysia
Day 64 - Langkawi
An early morning start to see the Langkawi Skycab cable car and associated activities. We arrived early to beat the crowds although unfortunately the strong winds in the morning meant the SkyBridge was closed.
6th Jan 2020 / Thailand
Day 65 - Ko Lipe, Thailand
A 30 minute taxi ride to the port; 90 minutes on a ferry and we arrive in Ko Lipe, Thailand.
7th Jan 2020 / Thailand
Day 66 - Ko Lipe, Beach time
Equipped with new snorkle equipment we just needed a beautiful beach and clear waters to test then out.
